At Restore Voice Coaching we aim to treat the whole person in a holistic way, considering aspects of you beyond the physical manifestation presenting in your voice. Singing lessons and vocal coaching aimed at unlocking your whole voice and potential. From beginner to advanced, young or old, we aim to help everyone find their voice and restore confidence and freedom in singing and speaking.

Vocal Coaching sessions differ from singing lessons. Our coaching sessions are for speakers and singers looking to developing technique and build vocal stamina post illness or injury, as well as those looking to develop vocal style and artistry, all whilst keeping your vocal health in tip top condition. We are hear to offer tailored sessions to work towards your desired goal.

NB - These sessions do not replace the work of an ENT or speech and language therapist. Where I think appropriate, or if you require more specialist clinical attention, I can help to refer you to the correct person.

Vocal health and habilitation for singers is a very specialised service aimed at helping and educating singers about their own vocal health and rebalancing the vocal mechanism. We will do this through:

Applying knowledge of the biopsychosocial causes of voice problems, including: a range of working environments, the impact of psychological stressors on voice function, evaluating vocal loading, awareness of overall wellbeing and lifestyle factors.
Assess the impact of a range of musical genres and professional working environments on vocal health, for both professional and amateur singers.
Understand the changes to the voice over a lifetime, and be able to apply this knowledge to their interactions with a client.
Know and understand the role/s of the other professionals who are part of the rehabilitative team
Be able to follow on from work undertaken by a Vocal Rehabilitation Specialist with longer-term habilitative singing voice work, rebuilding healthy vocal function after injury or dysphonia.
Be able to habilitate a singer with muscle tension dysphonia and no vocal fold pathology using vocal function exercises.
Know when to refer a singer for clinical assessment or help from a professional in another field.

Cancellations

To ensure fairness and smooth scheduling, all booked session cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee. Missed appointments (no-shows) are also non-refundable.
